Working With Us

Power International offers a dynamic, professional, and often challenging working environment. We offer a number of opportunities for people who have an interest in our work and invite expressions of interest from people who want to get involved.

Power International Associates

In addition to our own internal staff, Power International maintains close, long-term relationships with a network of Associates – individuals with proven technical skills and a commitment to quality that can contribute to Power International’s work both from Europe and in the countries in which we operate. We are always interested in identifying new Associates who believe in Power International’s work and high professional standards. To express your interest in registering as a Power Associate, please send your cv and a covering letter addressed to Fiona Dixon through info@powerinternational.org.

Power’s Advisory Network

Power International has established Power’s Advisory Network (PAN) to coordinate and provide pro bono legal advice and support to our human rights programmes. This network draws in lawyers from Ireland and the UK, as well as lawyers in the countries in which we work. You can find out more about this committee and the lawyers and legal organisations that support it here

If you are interested in joining Power’s Advisory Network either as an individual lawyer or an organisation please send an expression of interest addressed to Anthony Cahalan through info@powerinternational.org.

Internships

Power International operates an internship programme providing valuable practical experience of working in the NGO sector. This has been a very successful scheme that has provided benefits both to the intern and Power International. Interns gain practical work experience in the industry as well as the opportunity to develop teamwork and interpersonal skills. The intern has a varied programme which includes both administrative work and assignment support to the office and field staff, including data entry, research and analysis.
